  1. When the user visits the web pages of the Maniatopoulos Group of Companies, he is not obliged to register or disclose his Personal Data, i.e. personal data that identify him, such as his name, address and telephone number. The Group does not request such information from the visitor and our websites are of an informative nature. The company has the possibility of collecting some data through Processors, which do not relate to the individual per se, but are elements of general information (e.g. the name of the browser used, or the calculation of the number of people visiting the site in the form of a serial number, for the purpose of measuring traffic on the Group’s websites).

  2. The Group’s websites offer the possibility to fill in a contact form that the user chooses to complete, in order to communicate on line with the Group’s companies on any issue he/she wishes. It should be noted that there are other ways of contacting the user, where the user is not obliged to enter his/her details, e.g. by e-mail or by telephone. The completion form, if the user chooses to use it, may contain a place for entering personal data such as name, e-mail address and telephone number. The Group uses these data only for its own use and to better serve the interested party, as well as to enable it to contact him/her.

  3. Cookies are files containing information that a website transfers to the hard drive of the user’s computer. The use of cookies by the Group is intended to facilitate each user and to better familiarize him/her with the systems of internet use. In this way, the company has the ability to recognize the user and facilitate his navigation on its websites. However, users have the option to set their browsers to not accept cookies.

  4. Upon submission by the user of any Personal Data in the Group’s online environment (e.g. through a contact form), the Personal Data is entered into the database maintained by the Group.

  5. The processing of Personal Data may consist of various actions, such as, for example, the registration, organization and storage of Personal Data, their transmission to the competent departments of the Group’s companies and to any Processors, as well as their modification or deletion.

  6. The processing of Personal Data is governed by these terms, as well as the General European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), as supplemented by the applicable national legislation.

  7. It is important to understand that the legal basis for the processing of Data is to facilitate communication between the user and the Group’s companies, and to provide the user with information and answers as efficiently and quickly as possible, in a climate of mutual trust and good faith.

  8. Consequently, the Group collects and processes only the Personal Data that is necessary to serve the above purposes, such as, for example, the customer’s full name and contact details (e.g. addresses, emails, phone numbers).

  9. Personal Data is kept by the Group for as long as the communication with the user lasts, and as long as required by applicable legislation or any contractual obligation, depending on the nature of the matter.

  10. The Group undertakes to keep the user’s Personal Data up to date and accurate, to store and delete them by applying appropriate security rules, to protect them from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or publication, except those required for the Group’s compliance with its legal or contractual obligations, and in general to ensure the existence of appropriate technical and organizational measures for their protection.

  11. The Group respects all the rights of the user as provided by the GDPR. In particular, the user has the right of access to his/her Personal Data, the right to correct or complete them, the right to delete them once the purpose of the Processing has been completed, the right to restrict the Processing, the right to their portability (i.e. the right to request and receive them on portable devices, e.g. usb, cd) and the right to object to further processing, as well as any other right recognized by the Law.

  12. The user reserves the right to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of his/her Personal Data. The withdrawal is made by a simple written declaration to the Group.

  13. The user reserves the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

  14. The Group has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), to whom the user may address for the exercise of his/her rights, as follows: Ms Christina Skondra, Phone: (+30)2610993045, E-mail: dpo@idealbikes.gr, Website: www.idealbikes.net, Postal address: NIKOS MANIATOPOULOS S.A., Solonos and K.
